A bit of me
I’ve always liked stepping into other worlds. Growing up, that meant spending hours playing games like The Sims, Red Dead Redemption, GTA, and Mario, making up storylines with Barbies and Legos, filming chaotic music videos with friends, and getting completely absorbed in any movie. I’ve always been drawn to anything that lets me step outside my own perspective and see what things feel like from somewhere else.
That instinct is what eventually drew me to advertising. Working on a brand feels a lot like entering a new space; you figure out how it thinks, what it values, and how it speaks, then build something from inside that mindset. I like the process of shifting perspectives and trying to create ideas that feel natural for the brand but still resonate with the people interacting with it.
I’m currently a senior at Indiana University studying Media Advertising with minors in Marketing and Spanish. Through experience in social media management, event planning, recruiting, and marketing, I’ve had the chance to see how ideas actually land. Writing posts people engage with, planning events that draw crowds, or shaping messaging that persuades someone to act has taught me that tone, timing, and cultural awareness matter just as much as the idea itself.
Outside of work, I’m usually watching movies, reading, doing yoga, or keeping up with whatever people seem to be obsessed with that week. I like understanding what captures attention and why—what people are talking about, sharing, and reacting to. Advertising lets me take that curiosity and turn it into something creative.
